As a songwriter and artist, Tammy has had four songs hit #1 on independent Christian and Country charts. She was USAGEM’s 2008 Contemporary Christian Crown Jewel Award winner and the Country Music Hall of Fame’s 2009 Nominee for the Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Award.
But her most important role is MOM. Tammy has two “beautiful” daughters. She became a strong advocate for autism awareness after her younger daughter was diagnosed with autism at age 3. She is the producer and host of the annual “Breaking The Chains” Autism Benefit, held at the Bluebird Café. This past April marked the event’s 11th Anniversary.
